For the past three years, Zanzibar Holdings Ltd. and the community of Stswecem’c Xgat’tem First Nation (St-wet-lem hight-lem) (SXFN) have partnered on a large fuel break project near Big Bar Lake. The goal of the project is to to reduce wildfire risk to the rural community of Big Bar Lake with funding support from the Forest Enhancement Society of BC (FESBC).

Zanzibar Holdings thanks FESBC for its support of this project and is proud to have worked with the good people at Stswecem’c Xgat’tem (Dog Creek and Canoe Creek) on this and other projects.
