Our staff and experience
Zanzibar Holdings has over 15 years of experience conducting silviculture surveys. Over this time Zanzibar has completed survey contracts for licensees (West Fraser, Canfor, Tolko), and the ministry (BCTS, FLRNORD) and the Forest Carbon Initiative (FCI).
At Zanzibar we have a team professional staff comprised of experienced foresters (RPF) and accredited silviculture surveyors.
Current operating regions
Zanzibar’s surveying department operates across British Columbia in the Cariboo, Thompson/Okanagan, Kootenay/Boundary forest regions. Zanzibar has a wide experience in silviculture surveys including but not limited to: regen delay, free growing, survival surveys.
Systems management
Field data collection and reports are completed digitally using the surveying program SNAP. Zanzibar has a experienced team with the capability to complete custom maps, RESULTS entries, and professional sign offs in house.
