Cariboo Carbon Solution’s (CCS) seed and cone collection
Under Cariboo Carbon Solutions, Zanzibar has successfully conducted seed and cone collections in the Okanagan and Cariboo forest region. Cone and and seed collections have been completed for interior tree species such as: Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), Yellow pine (Pinus ponderosa), lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta), trembling aspen (Populus tremuloides), and black cottonwood (Populus balsamifera). The most up to date information on seedling availability can be located in seedling services.
